The only thing keeping you from being worm food is a three bladed piece of wood attached to a 2,250 hp Pratt & Whitney R-2800 18 cylinder monster thrashing around under the cowling. Not to mention the steely-eyed aerial killer in the seat controlling the whole damn show. Some canvas, some metal, some wood and a few 50 cals in the wings...Now that's some good old-timey combat flying!
